New York International gift fair

From August 16th to the 21st the New York International gift fair is taking place at the Jacob Javitz center. An explosion of colors and different materials used to create classic and eclectic gadgeds, gifts, note cards, jewelry and home accessories.

Well the fair is quiet changed since the golden years where busy crowd marched into the small hallways and you would struggle pushing back people just to get your way. The economy warned us on the low, and now we see the results. A pretty quiet fair i would say. Our friends and collegues acknowledge the situation with the hope that good times will be back soon.
In the meantime, enjoy the nice funny things we have seen during our visit.

Paper display screens and separation panels. Different colors and sizes if you need an inexpensive way to get back your privacy this may help!

"Terrorist teapot" for a killing tea time adventure!

How could a girl stick with such a lamp?

Rubber radio, a shock free experience...

Plastic waterproofing outfit, made of 25% recycling material and completely recyclable...well not the latest fashion design jacket but...aren't we all worried about our environment?

I would leave the first hand aside....not a very warm welcome!

I love bird houses! oh wait...is it a bird house?
